LADWP selects Stacy Witbeck to replace a key water disinfection facility serving the San Fernando Valley
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) has awarded Stacy Witbeck the contract to replace the North Hollywood Central Chlorination Station, an important component of the utility’s water disinfection system serving the San Fernando Valley.

The project's main focus is the construction of the new chlorination station including installation of the onsite sodium hypochlorite generation system (OSHG) and other supporting systems.
The project supports LADWP’s broader effort to strengthen local water treatment and disinfection infrastructure across the San Fernando Basin. The chlorination station sits within a service area LADWP has identified for expanded treatment capacity. This aligns with the Department’s long-term goals of improving water supply reliability and reducing dependence on imported water.
"This project is about improving the existing infrastructure and making sure the water coming out of the tap is safe and reliable for the community and its residents. We're glad to be a part of this project and look forward to continuing our successful relationship with LADWP."

The replacement facility will support LADWP’s continued investment in modernizing water infrastructure and maintaining reliable treatment facilities throughout the region.
